Mary Newton, a central figure in Hoddesdon's drama scene for eight decades, has passed away at 98. She dedicated her life to the Hoddesdon Players, acting in 100 plays and serving as chairman for over 50 years.
Two Carers in Hertfordshire staff members completed a sponsored swimathon, raising over £1,000 to support unpaid carers. The event was held at John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddesdon.
