Dobiefest, the annual fundraising event for Lincs Dobermann Rescue, is set to return to Arena UK in Grantham for the second consecutive year on June 20, 2026. Following the success of the 2025 event, organisers are preparing for an even bigger and better day out for dog lovers and families alike.
Supporting a Vital Cause
Lincs Dobermann Rescue, a registered charity founded in 2017 in Lincoln, has grown into a national organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Dobermanns across the United Kingdom, while maintaining its strong local roots in Lincolnshire. The charity relies on events like Dobiefest to fund its essential work.
How Dobiefest Began
Dobiefest originated five years ago when a small group of enthusiastic supporters conceived the idea of a fundraising event for the charity. The first gathering took place in Mablethorpe, and since then, the event has evolved into a spectacular showcase that attracts visitors from across the UK.
A Day of Fun for All
The event promises a fun-filled, action-packed day for the whole family. Whether attendees are Dobermann enthusiasts or owners of other breeds, there will be competitions for everyone, including Dobermann and All Breeds showing classes, flyball, and agility demonstrations. Participants can also take part in the Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award Scheme and other engaging activities.
A wide variety of trade stands will cater to all interests. This year, the event will collaborate with Pet Blood Bank UK, the canine equivalent of the NHS Blood Transfusion Service, to promote their vital work.
How to Get Involved
All necessary information is available on the official website, dobiefest.co.uk, and the dedicated Facebook page, Dobiefest UK. The event is family-orientated and attracts visitors from the local Grantham area as well as from across the United Kingdom.
