Yorkshire Facades Specialist CCL Targets £100m Pipeline for Northern Expansion
Wakefield-based CCL Facades, a specialist in building exteriors and part of the Caddick Construction Group, has revealed ambitious expansion plans targeting a substantial £100 million pipeline of work across the North and Midlands. This strategic move follows a period of sustained growth and increasing market presence for the innovative façade contractor.
Impressive Financial Growth and Expansion
Established in 2022 after Caddick Construction Group's acquisition of assets and intellectual property from Speedclad, CCL Facades has demonstrated remarkable financial progress. The company reported a turnover of £9.6 million for its first full trading year ending August 2024. Looking ahead, CCL expects turnover to rise from £13.1 million in the 2024/25 financial year to £16 million in 2025/26, reflecting its strong positioning in the market.
Under the leadership of Managing Director Tony Blake, the business has expanded significantly from an initial team of nine employees to 29 staff members. To date, CCL Facades has delivered more than £40 million worth of projects, completing 26 schemes. Currently, the company has 10 projects active on site, with an additional 22 projects in the pipeline valued at approximately £99 million.

CCL Facades operates across all of Caddick Construction Group's key regions, including the North West, North East, Yorkshire, and the Midlands. The company's growing portfolio encompasses a diverse range of commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects, showcasing its versatility and expertise in façade solutions.
The business has cultivated key relationships with major contractors such as BAM, Eric Wright, Shepherd Group, and Lindum. Notably, 65% of CCL's turnover now comes from external clients, indicating its expanding market reach beyond the Caddick Group. This external growth underscores the company's reputation and competitive standing in the construction industry.
