Purity Brewing Fights On Amid Administration Rumours
Brewery Defies 'Last Orders' Rumours

Warwickshire-based Purity Brewing has delivered a defiant message to its customers, forcefully denying rumours that it is about to call time on its operations.

Protective Measures, Not Administration

The brewery, which operates the prominent Purecraft Bar and Kitchen on Waterloo Street in Birmingham city centre, moved to clarify its position after several news outlets reported it was 'on the brink of calling last orders'. Reports from The Grocer and Sky News on Friday, November 28 suggested its parent company, Keystone Brewing Group, was lining up FRP Advisory as administrator.

In a statement posted on its Facebook and Instagram pages, Purity Brewing was unequivocal: "Let us be clear: that is not the case." The company confirmed it has filed a notice of intent to appoint an administrator, but stressed this is a protective legal measure.

'Still Here' and Fighting for Great Beer

The brewery explained that the action allows it to continue trading normally while it races to secure new investment or explore a potential sale. "It gives us the breathing space we need to protect our people, our brands, and our customers," the statement read.

Striking a resilient tone, the company declared it is "fighting for the future of great beer" and remains fully operational. "We're still brewing, we're still delivering, we're still here. The same beers. The same quality. The same passionate team behind every pint," it assured supporters.

Festive Focus for Birmingham Favourite

As the crucial festive season gets underway, the brewery says its focus remains on its core business. "Our focus remains on what we do best which is making and supplying exceptional beer, cider, and brands that people love," the statement continued.

The Purecraft Bar and Kitchen, a favourite for visitors to Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market due to its prime location, has been a fixture at 30 Waterloo Street since 2014. The brewery expressed deep gratitude to its customer base, stating: "To our customers, partners, and supporters we want to say: Thank you for standing with us. Your continued loyalty means everything to this team. And together we're determined to come through this stronger than ever."
