Butlins and Haven Price Promise: Guests Can Claim Up to £289 Refund
Butlins and Haven Price Promise: Up to £289 Refund

Butlins and Haven have a holiday rule that means guests can get a payout of up to £289. Holidaymakers can receive a refund if they find a cheaper deal on their stay after booking. A warning has been issued for anyone with a Butlins or Haven summer holiday, as the price promise allows guests to claim the difference if the price of their break goes down.

How the Price Promise Works

Under the rule from Butlins or Haven, if the price of your break decreases after you have booked, you can get a refund for the difference. All holidaymakers have to do is prove that they have found a cheaper holiday to claim their refund. Customers have shared on social media that they have been given up to £289 by using the price promise.

Expert Advice

Sarah Coles, personal finance expert at Hargreaves Lansdown, previously told The Sun that customers should take advantage of the offer. "If it's cheaper at any stage after you book, you can get in touch and ask for a refund for the difference," she said. "In both cases, make sure you check the terms and conditions to make sure it applies in your circumstances. If you have changed any details of the booking, for example, you may have voided the guarantee," she added.

Haven's Statement

Haven said: "When you book your 2026 or 2027 holiday early, we'll beat any prices cheaper after that. Once you have seen your holiday at a cheaper price, please open our web chat and request Price Promise when prompted. The automated process is available 24/7 and will ask some security questions before resolving your Price Promise request."

Payment Options

It's never been easier to pay for your Haven break. Book your 2026 or 2027 Haven break today with just a £30 deposit and spread the cost of your break across a series of monthly payments with our Easy Monthly payment plan. This option is not available on touring and camping. The alternative to the easy payment plan is to pay in full or to pay an initial deposit of £60 at the time of booking and then the outstanding balance, which will be due 10 weeks before arrival. Touring and camping bookings require a £25 deposit payable at time of booking and are excluded from the Easy payment plan option.
