Argos Black Friday: Save 25% on 'Incredible' LEGO Star Wars AT-TE Walker
Argos Black Friday: 25% Off LEGO Star Wars Set

Star Wars enthusiasts across the UK have been given an early holiday treat, with Argos slashing the price of a popular LEGO set by a significant 25 per cent for its Black Friday sale.

A Clone Wars Classic at a Discount

The set in question is the LEGO Star Wars AT-TE Walker Set with Droid Figures, which allows builders to recreate the iconic Battle of Utapau from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Previously retailing for £120, the construction kit is now available for just £90, offering a substantial saving for fans and gift-givers. Argos has described the 1,082-piece set as a great gift idea for Revenge of the Sith fans aged nine and over.

What's Inside the Box?

This impressive model is packed with features that promise hours of building and play. The centrepiece is a buildable AT-TE Walker, complete with a 360-degree-rotating heavy blaster cannon. The set also includes a generous selection of figures to bring the scene to life: five LEGO minifigures and three Battle Droids.

Further enhancing its play value, the walker features a detachable minifigure cockpit and a dedicated seat for the 212th Clone Gunner. For firepower, builders will find six blaster cannons and two thermal detonators, making it a highly detailed and interactive display piece or toy.

What the Builders Are Saying

The set has been met with largely positive reviews from customers. One five-star reviewer, Aiden, called it the biggest set he owns and praised its "superb playability" and "amazing and varied" figure collection. Another, named Tom, highlighted the value, noting that "buying from Argos is often less expensive than buying from Lego due to Argos deals."

AJ, who bought the set a month ago, reported that the "quality was fantastic" during the build and that it would suit their Clone Wars collection "brilliantly." The set also proved a hit with younger builders, with Heather stating her eight-year-old son "absolutely loved" it.

However, not all feedback was completely glowing. A two-star review pointed out an issue with the "horrendous prints on the 212th figures," criticising the shaped print for being "super off." This suggests that while the overall set is a hit, there may be minor quality control points for dedicated collectors to consider.

For those looking for other building adventures, Argos's Black Friday event includes other LEGO deals, such as a Viking Village reduced from £124.99 to £87.49. Shoppers can also find the LEGO Fortnite Battle Bus Toy Set with 9 Characters for £64.99 at John Lewis.
