Asda has cast a spell on one of its UK superstores, embarking on a major magical transformation timed perfectly with the cinematic release of Wicked: For Good.
A Magical In-Store Experience
The Asda superstore in Patchway, Bristol, has been completely reimagined, welcoming shoppers into the world of Oz. From now until December 10, customers can immerse themselves in displays dedicated to the new film. The entrance now features a spectacular sign showcasing the iconic characters Elphaba and Glinda, setting the scene for a unique shopping trip.
Exclusive Wicked Merchandise and Products
As part of the campaign, Asda is launching an exclusive 60-piece George collection inspired by the film. The range includes homeware, fashion, and general merchandise, with prices starting from just £4. Highlights from the collection include Wicked Satin Jacquard Pyjamas for girls and women, and themed duvet sets featuring Elphaba and Glinda.
It's not just George getting in on the act. Several major food and drink brands have launched special Wicked: For Good products, featuring the film's heroines on their packaging. Shoppers can look out for limited-edition items from Robinsons Squash, Butterkist Popcorn, Herbal Essences shampoo, Magnum Bon Bons, and a Wicked Celebration cake.
Film Release and National Rollout
This enchanting retail partnership celebrates the premiere of Wicked: For Good, which flies into cinemas on November 21. This release comes almost a year to the day after the first part of the film franchise captivated audiences. While the full immersive experience is exclusive to the Patchway store for a limited time, the new George collection and branded products will be available in select Asda stores across the country and online, allowing more fans to grab a piece of the magic.
