Santander has confirmed that it will close 13 more bank branches across the UK next week, delivering another blow to the high street. The restructuring plan puts approximately 291 jobs at risk.
Bank's Response to Digital Shift
A Santander UK spokesperson stated: "In response to a continuing and sizeable shift towards customers using digital banking, we are making changes to our branches to better support our customers."
