Tesco has issued an urgent alert to its 24 million Clubcard holders, urging them to check their accounts and use vouchers set to expire at the end of the month.
Act Now to Avoid Losing Voucher Value
The supermarket giant has warned that vouchers worth a staggering £16.5 million are due to expire. Customers must exchange their vouchers before the deadline of midnight on November 30.
These vouchers are typically valid for a period of two years, making this a critical final call for anyone who has been saving them.
Exciting Reward Partner Offers Available
Shoppers are encouraged not just to spend their vouchers in-store but to explore the enhanced value available through the Clubcard Rewards scheme. Customers can exchange their vouchers for double their value with over 100 reward partners.
New deals include the popular Tesco Tuesdays offer with Cineworld, where members can get cinema tickets for Tuesday showings for just £5 (using £2.50 in Clubcard Vouchers).
There is also a standout triple value voucher offer with PizzaExpress. This means that £10 of Tesco Clubcard vouchers can be redeemed for a £30 discount on food at the restaurant chain.
A Significant Amount of Value at Stake
Shama Wilson, Tesco Group Membership and Loyalty Director, emphasised the scale of what is at risk. "We don’t want anyone to miss out on making the most of their Tesco Clubcard Vouchers," she said.
Wilson provided some striking figures: "The value of vouchers expiring is higher than usual this quarter, and if all the vouchers expiring were used for Tesco Tuesdays it would be enough to get 6.6 million cinema tickets at Cineworld."
She added, "If they were exchanged with PizzaExpress they could secure an amazing £49.5 million of reward codes towards food, so it really is worth checking in the Tesco app to see if you have any vouchers expiring."
Tesco Clubcard points can be earned in various ways, including shopping in-store, purchasing fuel, and charging electric vehicles at Pod points located at Tesco stores.
