Tesco Urgent Recall: Westaways Hogs Pudding Unsafe to Eat
Tesco recalls Westaways Hogs Pudding over safety

Tesco, the UK's largest supermarket chain, has issued an urgent product recall and is calling on shoppers to return a specific item to their nearest store immediately.

What Product Is Being Recalled?

The recall affects Westaways Hogs Pudding 380g with a specific use-by date. The product is being pulled from shelves because the required cooking temperature was not reached during production, rendering it unsafe for consumption.

The recall was officially issued on November 14, 2025. The affected products have a use-by date of December 10, 2025.

What Should Customers Do?

Tesco has issued clear instructions for anyone who has purchased the affected Hogs Pudding. The supermarket has stated that customers should not eat the product under any circumstances.

Shoppers are instead advised to take the item back to any Tesco store. A full refund will be given, and no receipt is required to process the return. Tesco has apologised for any inconvenience this necessary safety action may cause.

It is important to note that no other Westaway Sausages products are affected by this specific recall.

Additional Tesco Free From Recall

This warning comes shortly after another recent recall from the supermarket giant. Tesco also announced the recall of specific batch codes of its Tesco Free From Breadcrumbs 170g.

This product is being recalled due to the unexpected presence of wheat (gluten), which poses a serious health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance. All date and batch codes up to and including the best before end of January 2027 are affected.

The same return procedure applies: customers with a wheat or gluten allergy should return the product to a store for a full refund, with no need for a receipt.
