Customers were instructed to cancel their direct debit arrangements with VISPA promptly. The email further recommended that subscribers explore providers operating on the Openreach network, suggesting that many could take over existing lines with minimal disruption, thereby facilitating a smoother transition during this unexpected service termination.

At present, the VISPA website displays a service status page indicating it is "down for maintenance," reflecting the company's operational shutdown. The site redirects users to the Openreach network's provider list, advising them to contact their billing company directly for any broadband, telephone, or Wi-Fi issues.

This collapse follows recent industry turbulence, including another UK broadband provider, G Network, facing administration reportedly due to extensive fibre cable damage caused by rats. That London-based high-speed internet provider had been experiencing financial difficulties, with a potential rescue bid from Community Fibre ultimately abandoned over concerns about repair costs for the damaged infrastructure.
