Charity Representatives Express Gratitude
Evan Musgrave, Macmillan relationship fundraising manager for Wales, said: “Macmillan Cancer Support would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Mayor of Mold, Councillor Paul Beacher, for choosing Macmillan as one of his charities during his mayoral year. Through his dedication and fundraising efforts, an incredible £3,700 has been raised to support people living with cancer across Mold and the wider Flintshire area. This generous donation could fund a Macmillan Nurse for 96 hours, helping people affected by cancer and their families access vital medical, practical, emotional and financial support when they need it most.”
Musgrave added: “Cancer isn't fair, but cancer care should be. At Macmillan, we are committed to ensuring that everyone living with cancer receives the support they need, wherever they are and whatever barriers they may face. Thank you again to Councillor Paul Beacher and everyone who supported these fantastic fundraising efforts.”
Dee Denton, CEO of KidsBank, commented: “Councillor Beacher has been a fantastic advocate for KidsBank, helping us to raise awareness of the challenges facing local families. His support has helped us reach more families who need a helping hand and build more connections within the community. We’d like to thank Councillor Beacher for his kindness and generosity, and we’re immensely grateful for his support towards our mission.”
