RSPCA Seeks Loving Home for Abandoned Cat 'Baked Bean'
RSPCA Seeks Home for Abandoned Cat Baked Bean

The RSPCA has launched an appeal to rehome an adorable ginger cat who was found abandoned on a farm in the West Midlands on Mother's Day. The animal charity is seeking a new home for a 'stunning ginger' cat adorably named Baked Bean.

The RSPCA said the 'very deserving girl' was found after she was dumped on a farm in the West Midlands and forced to raise herself and 'litter after litter' of kittens. But now kitten-free, she is looking for a fresh-start with a peaceful home for her 'gentle soul'.

Sharing pictures of her online, a spokesperson for the charity's Worcestershire and Midlands branch said: 'You may remember us introducing this stunning ginger girl, Baked Bean, on Mother's Day - now that her job as mum is finally over, it's her turn to be cared for.'

'Estimated to be around 2-3 years old, Baked Bean came to us after being dumped on a farm, where she survived the only way she could - raising litter after litter, fending for herself, and never truly knowing the comfort of a safe home. It's a heartbreaking start for such a gentle soul.'

'Now kitten-free, she's beginning a completely new chapter… one where she can learn what it means to be loved. She is understandably nervous, but we're already seeing her grow braver each day. She's starting to choose to stay out in the open rather than hiding away, quietly watching the world around her.'

'Food is definitely the way to her heart, and with time, patience, and kindness, she has so much potential to blossom. Baked Bean is looking for a calm, quiet home with understanding adopters who will let her move at her own pace. She just needs a safe space, gentle reassurance, and people who will give her the time she's never had before. In return, you'll be giving a very deserving girl the chance to finally experience the love she's always missed.'

Many people have rushed to the comments on the Facebook post, hoping to offer the sweet momma cat a loving home - including one woman with another rescue that could make the perfect pair. 'Is she okay with another rescue cat? Ours is named Cheese so it will be perfect. CHEESE AND BEANS,' she wrote. To which, the charity replied: 'There were other cats dumped on the same farm, who were all living together, so we would not rule out a home with another cat.'

Another user said: 'Awww bless her, she's a little beauty. Sure she will find a home very soon.' A third commented: 'A ginger mum cat - rare! What a beautiful kitty I wish I could have her.'
