Appeal launched to find three men after assault in Birmingham

Police seek three suspects following city centre assault

West Midlands Police have launched an appeal to trace three men in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Birmingham city centre. The incident took place on Saturday, 18 March, at around 2.30am on Hurst Street, near the Arcadian Centre.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted and sustained injuries that required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

Description of the suspects

Police have released CCTV images of three men they wish to speak to in connection with the attack. The first suspect is described as a white man, aged in his 20s, with a slim build, short dark hair, and was wearing a dark-coloured top and trousers. The second suspect is also a white man, aged in his 20s, with a medium build, short brown hair, and was wearing a light-coloured top and dark trousers. The third suspect is described as a white man, aged in his 30s, with a medium build, and was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top and dark trousers.

Appeal for information

Detective Constable Sarah Jones, from West Midlands Police, said: "We are keen to identify and speak to the three men in the images as they may have vital information that could assist our investigation. We would urge anyone who recognises them or has any information about the assault to get in touch."
