Police Probe Second Scene in Bilston Attack

Police investigating a serious attack in Bilston have issued a plea for information as they search for a second crime scene.

A man remains in hospital today after suffering a severe leg injury. Officers were called to Castlecroft Road in Bilston on Tuesday, June 16, just before 10.30pm.

The victim was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury and is still receiving treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Appeal

West Midlands Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made so far. In a statement, they said: 'We’re investigating after a man was seriously injured in an attack in Bilston.'

'We were called to Castlecroft Road just before 10.30pm yesterday (16 June). The victim was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury, and remains in hospital today. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.'

'We are working to establish exactly how the man was injured. It’s believed the attack took place at another location, and we are trying to establish where that was.'

Witness Appeal

Officers are urging anyone who was in the area on Tuesday night to come forward. They are particularly interested in any mobile phone, dashcam, or CCTV footage that could assist the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting log number 6135 of 16 June.

Police inquiries are ongoing.
