Tributes have been paid to a young motorcyclist who died in a crash in Kingswinford, Black Country. The biker, aged in his 20s, was involved in a collision with a car on Kidderminster Road at the junction of Lodge Lane at around 9.30pm on Friday, June 19.
Emergency Response
Paramedics rushed to the scene but, despite their best efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed the driver of the car stopped and is assisting with enquiries.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: 'We were called to Kidderminster Road at the junction of Lodge Lane at around 9.30pm to reports of a collision between a motorbike and a car. A motorcyclist was found seriously injured. Officers attended alongside ambulance colleagues but despite their best efforts, the man in his 20s sadly died at the scene. His family has been informed and are being supported at this difficult time.'

Shocked locals have paid tribute on Facebook. Chris Jones wrote: 'Honestly, it makes me really tearful when I keep reading of young people losing their lives. It's every day. It must be absolutely heartbreaking for their family and friends.' Alison Egan added: 'So sad. Fly high young man.' Diane Phillips said: 'RIP. So young. Condolences to family and friends.' Sallyanne Mulligan expressed her thoughts were with the man's loved ones.
