Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing man from Worcestershire who may need immediate medical treatment for a hand injury.
Urgent Appeal for Missing Barry Forrester
Barry Forrester, aged 45, was last seen leaving his home in Evesham at approximately 1.20am on Sunday, January 4. Officers from West Mercia Police and his family are said to be growing increasingly concerned for his welfare, not only due to his injury but also because of the cold overnight conditions.
Description and Last Known Movements
Mr Forrester is described as being around 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build and a shaved head. He has distinctive face tattoos, which may help the public identify him.
When he was last seen, he was wearing light blue jeans, a dark jacket and a grey Adidas jumper. Inspector Andrew Hodgetts of West Mercia Police stated that they believe Barry is still likely to be in the Evesham area and that multiple local searches are being carried out.
Public Asked Not to Approach
The police have issued specific advice to the public. "If you have seen Barry, we would advise not to approach him, but please contact police," said Inspector Hodgetts.
Anyone with any information regarding Barry Forrester's whereabouts is urged to call the emergency services on 999 immediately. The combination of his untreated injury and the winter weather has heightened concerns for his safety.
