Jack Fincham lost £1 million and hits rock bottom

Former Love Island champion Jack Fincham has made a shocking confession about his financial downfall, revealing he lost a staggering £1 million and has reached what he describes as "rock bottom".

From Reality Star to Ruin

The 34-year-old reality television personality, who won the ITV dating show alongside Dani Dyer in 2018, has spoken candidly about the "proper painful" lessons he's learned after making what he calls "massive mistakes".

Fincham's post-Love Island life took a dramatic downward spiral as he battled multiple addictions, including gambling, alcohol and drugs, which eventually led him to seek help in rehabilitation.

His troubles extended beyond substance abuse when he found himself facing legal consequences in January after admitting to being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog that attacked a runner and mauled a woman. Although he was initially jailed, his sentence was later overturned on appeal.

The Cost of Wrong Choices

In an emotional Instagram post, Fincham broke his silence about his struggles, writing: "I've been quiet for a long time — maybe too long. Truth is, I haven't known what to say."

He revealed the extent of his losses, stating: "I lost over £1 million chasing the wrong things — and in the process, I lost over a million followers too."

The reality star acknowledged his responsibility in the situation, admitting: "I wasn't myself. I was lost, struggling, and making the kind of mistakes that feel impossible to come back from."

A Raw Comeback Journey

Fincham is now determined to rebuild his life and career, announcing the launch of a new YouTube channel that will document his journey from what he describes as "absolutely rock bottom".

In a video explaining his decision, he said: "I've made some massive mistakes. I've learnt some really, really proper painful, really painful lessons over the years."

The former Love Island winner emphasised that he takes full responsibility for his actions, stating: "Every mistake that I've made, I own them all. They're all my fault. I ain't a victim."

His new project aims to show viewers "what it's like to start from rock bottom" and demonstrate that "with the right mindset, the right people around you, absolutely anything is possible".

Fincham promised the content would be "uncut, raw" and told in his "own words", rather than through media interpretations. The channel will target anyone who has "ever felt like you're at rock bottom" or "felt like there was no way out".

Now in a relationship with TOWIE star Chloe Brockett, Fincham appears determined to turn his life around, acknowledging that while he hasn't "got it all figured out", he knows where he wants to be and who he wants to become.
