I'm A Celebrity star Jack Osbourne has sent shockwaves through the jungle camp by revealing disturbing details about his family's past, including that his gangster grandfather once sent hitmen after his mother Sharon.
Dark Family Secrets Revealed
During a conversation with former glamour model Kelly Brook, the reality TV personality confirmed long-standing rumours about his late grandfather Don Arden's violent business tactics. The notorious music manager, who died in 2007 aged 81, was known for dangling bands out of windows to force them to sign with him.
"He pulled guns on people, everything," Jack told his campmates, adding that his grandfather did "all sorts of screwed up things" during his career managing major rock acts.
The Family Fallout That Sparked Violence
The situation turned particularly dark when Arden fell out with his daughter Sharon after she took over management of her husband Ozzy Osbourne's career. Jack revealed that mobsters with guns would show up at Ozzy's gigs during this turbulent period.
"He sent hitmen after them," Jack confessed to his stunned campmates. "She was his protégé, he taught her everything and he did all sorts of screwed up things."
Jack explained how his grandfather had protected himself legally by having Sharon sign documents that put everything in her name. "So he would never get in trouble... they would firebomb other record companies. That's why my grandfather knew the Krays," he added, referencing the infamous London gangster twins.
Reconciliation and Resolution
The Osbourne family eventually had to take legal action to resolve the conflict, with Jack revealing they were forced to pay Don Arden one million dollars to break the contract.
In perhaps the most surprising revelation, Jack told campmates that he believed his grandfather was dead until he reached age 17. "My mum actually told me he was dead," he confessed, explaining why he had no relationship with Arden during his childhood.
The revelations came during filming for ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, which continues at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
