The family of a beloved grandmother have spoken of their devastation after she was one of three people killed in a tragic road collision in Worcestershire.
A Devastating Collision
Dorothy Costas, aged 70, lost her life following a serious incident involving a car and a cement mixer. The collision occurred on October 30 on the A4103 in Bransford, located in the Malvern Hills district.
Tragically, two other people travelling in the same vehicle as Dorothy also died at the scene. They were a woman and a man, both also in their seventies.
A Family's Heartfelt Tribute
Dorothy's grieving family have now issued a moving tribute to her, shared through West Mercia Police. They described their profound loss, stating their world had been shattered.
"As a family we are devastated our mum, nana, sister, aunty and friend has been taken away from us so soon," the tribute read.
They remembered Dorothy as a woman deeply loved by many, whose life was filled with fun and joy. "Mum was loved by so many people in her fun filled life, memories we can all treasure forever," the family said.
In a poignant and loving farewell, they added: "Your star will always shine, mum. Always in our hearts, forever. Good night and god bless mum."
Investigation Concludes
The police investigation into the precise circumstances of the crash has been completed. A spokesperson confirmed that no arrests were made in connection with the incident.
The community in Bransford and the wider Malvern Hills area is now mourning the loss of three lives in this devastating road traffic accident.
