A fascinating mystery surrounding the late James Bond star Roger Moore will be uncovered during 'Sale's Surprising Stories' at the Waterside Arts Centre on Friday, June 12, at 7 pm. Moore famously denied ever living in the town, but three eyewitnesses are ready to testify otherwise. They claim to have seen him regularly in Sale during the early 1970s while he was filming at Granada TV in Manchester.

The evening will be hosted by proud Salians Eamonn O'Neal OBE and Andy Buckley, who will delve into the lives of actors, musicians, sports stars, and media personalities who have called Sale home.
