While watching the Christmas Day edition of the BBC dance competition from home, the 29-year-old recorded a light-hearted video of herself. In the clip, she is seen mock-dramatically clawing at her television screen in faux despair.
The source of her humorous frustration was the panel of judges, who were freely handing out high scores of 9s and 10s to the celebrity contestants taking part in the one-off special.

Sharing the video on social media on 28 December 2025, Amber Davies penned a tongue-in-cheek caption alongside it. She wrote: "Watching the Strictly Xmas special seeing the judges give out 9s and 10s when it took me ten weeks of breaking my body to get those marks."
Quick to ensure fans knew she was not being serious, she immediately clarified her stance in the same post. She added: "THIS IS JUST A JOKE. I loved watching the Xmas special. CONGRATULATIONS my babies Scarlett Moffatt and Vito Coppola."
