A contestant from the hit BBC reality show The Traitors has set social media alight by sharing completely nude photographs on his personal Instagram account.
Cheeky Social Media Presence
Matthew, a 35-year-old Creative Director from Northern Ireland, made his television debut as the latest series of The Traitors launched on BBC One on New Year's Day. His Instagram profile, which boasts over 16,000 followers, features a series of playful posts where he prominently shows off his bottom, often obscured by a cheeky peach emoji.
His bio reads: "Yes, they're real. Instagram hates my" followed by the peach symbol, a clear nod to his penchant for risqué content. A fortnight before the show aired, he posted a throwback picture where he first used the emoji to cover himself, prompting a new follower to ask if he would "do the same on The Traitors".
Adventure and Aspirations on the Show
Speaking about his decision to join the show, Matthew explained his motivation was a quest for adventure. "My New Year's resolution was to have more adventures," he said, noting that while he initially meant hiking and camping, he loved the show and decided to "give it a go".
He has one clear goal if he wins the prize money. Having previously campaigned for marriage equality in Northern Ireland before it became legal in 2020, Matthew hinted that victory might finally see him tie the knot. "I'd probably say I'm going to get married back home in Northern Ireland on my family farm. And if I win, I might just have to do that," he revealed, adding it would make a compelling story at the final Round Table.
Physical Prowess and Strategy
Matthew is confident his background will help him excel in the show's demanding physical missions. A keen cold swimmer, climber, and boulderer, he stated he is not afraid of heights or harsh conditions.
"I'm sporty and I cold swim all the time, so the physical missions will be fine," he said. "I think I would relish all of them. The missions are what I'm really excited about, and I hope that's a way to show you're trying to bag some cash for the team."
Among the 22 new contestants, including a former police officer and a barrister, Matthew stands out not just for his strategic mindset but for bringing his unfiltered, adventurous personality from Instagram straight to the iconic Scottish castle.
