Kelly Osbourne's Tribute to Dad Ozzy on 77th Birthday

Kelly Osbourne has posted a deeply emotional tribute to her father, the late rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, on what would have been his 77th birthday.

A Daughter's Heartfelt Message

The television personality, 41, shared her grief publicly on social media this morning, Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She accompanied a series of personal photographs with the poignant words: "Happy birthday I miss you daddy! I love you more than life itself!"

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, passed away at the end of July this year. His death came just weeks after the band's final performance together at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Family Returns to Birmingham for Civic Honour

The tribute coincides with the Osbourne family's visit to Ozzy's hometown. Kelly has documented the trip, sharing images and videos of herself, her mother Sharon, brother Louis, and husband Sid Wilson at Villa Park.

The purpose of their visit is twofold: to mark Ozzy's birthday and to receive a significant posthumous honour on his behalf. The family is expected to be presented with the Lord Mayor's Award, one of Birmingham's highest civic accolades.

This award recognises outstanding achievement or exceptional service to the city and its people. It will honour the Aston-born star's immense contribution to Birmingham's cultural and musical identity on the global stage.

A Proud Son of Birmingham Remembered

The Osbourne family released a statement expressing their feelings about the award. "We are deeply touched to receive this award in honour of Ozzy," they said. "He was so loved by the people of Birmingham so it is great to come back and see the impact he has had in his hometown and how he continues to inspire generations of Brummies’ and fans across the world."

Councillor Zafar Iqbal MBE, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, also paid tribute. "Ozzy was and always will be a proud and much missed son of Birmingham," he stated. "Having achieved worldwide success, he never forgot his Brummie roots, so I am honoured to present the award to his family in a fitting tribute of everything he has done for our city. Ozzy forever!"

During their visit, the family will also be presented with Books of Condolence that have been filled by fans and residents. Meanwhile, Kelly noted she is still keeping up with her brother Jack's progress on the reality show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
