Leigh-Anne Breaks Record at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball 2025
Leigh-Anne's Record-Breaking Jingle Bell Ball Performance

Former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne has cemented her solo superstar status with a show-stopping performance at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard, simultaneously breaking an all-time record.

A Historic Night at The O2

On Friday, 6th December 2025, Leigh-Anne took to the stage at London's The O2 arena, performing for a packed crowd of 16,000 fans. This marked her second appearance at the festive extravaganza as a solo artist. However, it was a landmark moment, as this performance officially made her the artist with the most appearances at Capital's Summertime and Jingle Bell Balls combined in the event's history.

Speaking to Capital's Jimmy Hill in the lead-up to the event, Leigh-Anne expressed her pride, stating, "I am honoured, this is such an accomplishment guys." The record was secured thanks to her eight total Capital Ball performances, which include her many years of appearances with Little Mix alongside her new solo outings.

A Flawless Medley and Nod to Little Mix

In a poignant tribute to her roots, Leigh-Anne's set included a powerful medley of Little Mix's greatest hits. She delivered fan-favourite tracks 'Sweet Melody', 'Touch', and 'Power' to a rapturous reception. In a move that sent fans into a frenzy, the original backing vocals of her former bandmates—Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall—could be heard during the performance, creating an emotional highlight of the night.

Her solo material also shone brightly, with performances of her own tracks 'My Love', 'Dead and Gone', and 'Don't Say Love'. The entire showcase was described as flawless, further building anticipation for her upcoming debut album.

Gearing Up for a Major Solo Debut

The Jingle Bell Ball performance served as a perfect launchpad for Leigh-Anne's next chapter. Her debut solo album, titled 'MY EGO TOLD ME TO', is scheduled for release on 20th February 2026.

Announcing the project, she reflected on her challenging journey, writing: "The journey to this moment hasn’t been smooth. I’ve navigated going solo after over 10 years in a group, left a label and gone independent... I’m saying no to expectations, no to categories and no to boxes, this is me reclaiming my power." She promised the album would be "raw, unfiltered and everything I imagined my debut album would be."

From a record-breaking milestone on one of the UK's biggest stages to the imminent release of her first solo record, Leigh-Anne's performance proved she is confidently and successfully forging her own path in music.
