Caddick Construction has successfully concluded a significant volunteer-driven project aimed at revitalising Cross Green Growing Together, a cherished community charity located in Leeds. Over the course of two dedicated days, the team amassed an impressive 90 volunteer hours, focusing on the transformation of the garden's infrastructure. The primary achievement involved the installation of safer and more accessible pathways, ensuring that the outdoor space remains welcoming and usable for all residents and visitors for many years ahead.
A Collaborative Effort for Community Benefit
The volunteer initiative brought together a diverse group of participants, including members of the Caddick site team, three apprentices from the ongoing SOYO Block D development, and key supply chain partners such as Northfield Construction, Keyline Civils Specialists, and James Burrell Builders Merchant. This collaborative effort highlights the power of partnership in driving positive local change. The SOYO project, upon completion, is set to deliver 291 student bedrooms alongside modern amenities like a gym, a rooftop terrace, and dedicated study spaces, further enriching the area's offerings.
