A Labour Party Government source confirmed that there are ongoing talks about how to speed up the disbursement of Warm Homes capital funds, highlighting the urgency of the situation in the wake of global energy market disruptions.
Chris Hewett, chief executive of Solar Energy UK, noted a significant increase in demand for solar panels and batteries since recent international conflicts began, stating, "We expect that to continue." He emphasized that the solar industry has a growing market and sufficient installer capacity to support rapid expansion, ensuring that households can benefit from these installations promptly.

While precise eligibility criteria are still being finalized, it is anticipated that the grants will be available to households earning around £35,000 or less annually.
