Iceland Supermarket Launches £5 Free Top-Up for Families This Easter
Millions of shoppers at Iceland and The Food Warehouse can now secure a £5 free top-up during the upcoming school holidays, as part of a major initiative to support vulnerable families across the UK. This exclusive offer, available through the popular Bonus Club scheme, aims to alleviate the financial strain on households as food prices continue to rise and children spend more time at home over the Easter break.
How the Offer Works
To claim the £5 top-up, families must have a registered Iceland and The Food Warehouse Bonus Card, which is free to sign up for via the Bonus Club app. This offer is specifically available to customers with a Bonus Club App account who are entitled to receive a school holiday meal allowance voucher. Eligible customers will receive £5 back on their Bonus Club App when they spend a minimum of £15 on School Meal Gift Cards in-store between 24th March 2026 and 13th April 2026.
Supporting Families in Need
With over 950 stores accepting free school meal vouchers throughout the Easter break, Iceland is making this one of its biggest free school meal top-ups to date. In addition to the top-up, the supermarket has curated a range of deals to help families further, including discounts on lunchtime snacks, everyday essentials, and delicious meals. Offers such as 4 for £4.80, 5 for £5, and buy two get one free are part of this effort.
Statement from Iceland Foods
Lord Richard Walker, Executive Chairman of Iceland Foods, commented on the initiative, stating, "We know families look to reduce spending in all aspects of daily life, and we know that as a business we need to do our bit to help. At Iceland and The Food Warehouse, we’re committed to standing by families during these challenging times. We hope these extra top-ups bring a little relief to those who need it most this Easter."
This move comes as many parents face increased household food costs, highlighting Iceland's commitment to community support during periods of economic pressure. The offer is designed to provide practical assistance, ensuring that families can access essential groceries without additional financial burden.
