McDonald's Announces Major UK Menu Shake-Up Launching Next Week
McDonald's has confirmed a significant menu shake-up launching across the United Kingdom next week, introducing exciting new seasonal items and bringing back popular favorites just in time for Easter. The fast-food giant is rolling out two brand-new Cadbury Mini Egg treats alongside several returning classics, creating a comprehensive refresh of its offerings.
New Easter-Inspired Beverage and Desserts
The highlight of the menu shake-up is the introduction of the Cadbury Mini Egg Frappe, described as a chocolate Frappe base blended with ice and finely crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs, topped with cream and a dusting of additional Cadbury Mini Eggs. This seasonal drink will be available exclusively via the McDonald's App from March 17 to March 24, after which it will become available through all ordering channels except McDelivery.
For dessert lovers, McDonald's is launching a brand-new Cadbury Mini Eggs McFlurry, featuring soft dairy ice cream swirled with crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs and topped with Cadbury Chocolatey Sauce. Additionally, the popular Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry is returning, consisting of soft dairy ice cream swirled with Cadbury chocolate shards and topped with Cadbury Creme Egg sauce.
Returning Favorites and Promotional Card Collection
Starting March 17, customers who purchase selected medium or large combo meals—such as Big Mac, 9 Chicken McNuggets, or McPlant—will receive a fresh pack of four collectible cards. Each pack includes:
- One character card that earns a free food item
- Three additional cards offering chances to win extra prizes
The menu shake-up also sees the return of several beloved items:
- Spicy McNuggets: Available in 6-piece, 9-piece, or 20-piece Sharebox options, made with 100% chicken breast meat in a spicy coating using Jalapeno chillies, served with Spicy Chilli dip.
- Double Big Mac: Featuring four 100% British and Irish beef patties, cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, and the signature Big Mac sauce.
- Double Big Mac with Bacon: Adding smoky bacon for an extra flavor dimension.
