A man has tragically lost his life after a house fire broke out in Staffordshire on Christmas Eve morning.
Emergency Response to Suthard Way
Emergency services rushed to Suthard Way in Hednesford after receiving reports of a blaze at 8.40am on Wednesday, 24 December. Colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene.
Despite their efforts, paramedics pronounced a man dead at the location a short time later. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist police officers.

Staffordshire Police have stated that the man's death is not being treated as suspicious. However, the force confirmed that its inquiries are continuing in partnership with the fire service to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We were called at 8.40am on Wednesday to Suthard Way following reports of a house fire. Sadly, a short time later, a man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene."
