Hyndburn Borough Council has registered several planning applications between Monday, April 27 and Sunday, May 3. The list includes a variety of proposals ranging from external alterations to change of use for commercial properties.
Full Applications
One full application seeks external alterations at 18 King Street, Accrington, including new and amended windows and doors, re-roofing, and a fence to form a bin store. Another full application proposes a change of part of the land into a private outdoor playground and enhancements to the remaining public land (part retrospective) at 44-46 Cedar Street, Accrington, Lancashire. Additionally, a change of use from a public house (Sui Generis) to a convenience store (Class E) with a rear extension and re-organisation of car parking is planned at the Hare And Hounds Hotel, Whalley Road, Clayton Le Moors.
Prior Approval and Certificate of Lawful Development
A prior approval application has been submitted for the erection of a single-storey rear extension at 52 Lister Street, Accrington. Meanwhile, a certificate of lawful development proposed seeks the demolition of an existing conservatory and erection of a single-storey rear extension at 9 Holme Lea, Clayton-Le-Moors.
Householder Application
A householder application proposes the erection of a single-storey rear extension at 33 Hyndburn Street, Accrington.
Discharge of Conditions
Several discharge of condition applications have also been received. For 20 Cannon Street, Accrington, conditions 3 (Materials), 4 (Details of windows, roof-lights and roof-vents), 5 (Details of the subdivision of internal floor space), 7 (Details of refuse recycling/bin store and waste management), 11 (Construction Method Statement), and 17 (Details of bird and bat boxes) are to be discharged pursuant to planning permission 11/24/0415. Another discharge of condition 7 (Construction Method Statement) is sought on land off Charter Street, Accrington, under planning permission 11/25/0025. Finally, condition 7 (windows and doors) attached to listed building consent reference 11/24/0026 is to be discharged at the former Law Courts and police headquarters, Manchester Road, Accrington.
