Police in the Black Country sealed off a section of Tiled House Lane in Pensnett following reports of criminal damage on Wednesday night, July 1. The incident, which occurred just after 10:25 pm, prompted a police response that included a cordon and an increased officer presence in the area for reassurance.
Damage to Property Above Convenience Store
Images taken at the scene on Thursday afternoon, July 2, revealed damage to windows above a convenience store on the street. West Midlands Police confirmed that no one was injured during the incident. A force spokesperson stated: "We were called to Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, just after 10.25pm on Wednesday night to reports of criminal damage at a property. No one was injured during the incident, and our investigation is ongoing to establish exactly what’s happened."
Increased Police Presence for Reassurance
The spokesperson added: "You may see an increase in officers in the area, but this is for reassurance, so we would encourage anyone with any concerns to speak to us."
