Key Planning Proposals Submitted

The submitted applications include several notable proposals. At Arran Nurseries on Gas Street in Haslingden, an existing Certificate of Lawfulness is sought for the use of land for the storage of caravans and general storage purposes.

In Rawtenstall, a significant development is proposed at Glencoe Clayton Avenue and Horncliffe Close. This involves the demolition of an existing bungalow to erect four new dwellings, complete with associated access, gardens, and parking facilities. The plans also include ground level changes and other related works.

Additional Applications Across the Borough

Other applications registered include a Permission in Principle for the erection of two dwellings on land at Moss Farm on Greens Lane in Stacksteads, Bacup. Additionally, at 1218 Burnley Road in Loveclough, approval is sought for details reserved by Condition 9 concerning land contamination, pursuant to planning permission number 2025/0100.

A retrospective change of use application has been submitted for 15 Burnedge Close in Whitworth, Rochdale, aiming to convert the building from a Community Centre (F2) to a Dwellinghouse (C3). Meanwhile, at James Killelea & Co Ltd on Stoneholme Road in Crawshawbooth, a change of use is proposed to transform an existing industrial building into an indoor leisure and social facility.

Finally, at 7 Conway Road in Cloughfold, plans include the addition of front and rear dormers, a loft conversion, and replacing cream painted render with white render.
