Morgan Rogers' Value Soars to £109m, Ranking Among World's Elite
Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers valued at £109m in global study

Aston Villa's attacking sensation Morgan Rogers has been catapulted into the upper echelons of world football's most valuable assets, according to a prestigious new study.

Staggering Valuation Places Villa Star in Global Top 12

The respected CIES Football Observatory has placed a remarkable price tag of 125.9 million euros (£109 million) on the 23-year-old Englishman. This valuation sees Rogers ranked as the 12th most valuable player on the entire planet in their latest research.

He finds himself in truly elite company. The only Premier League players rated above him are Manchester City's goal machine Erling Haaland (255.1m euros) and Liverpool's Florian Wirtz (135.8m euros). The global top four is completed by Barcelona's Lamine Yamal (343.1m euros) and Real Madrid superstars Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.

A Meteoric Rise from £8m Signing to PFA Award Winner

Rogers' financial valuation has undergone a stratospheric increase, mirroring his on-field development. Villa secured his services from Middlesbrough in January 2024 for a base fee of just £8 million, with potential add-ons taking the total to around £15 million.

His impact was immediate and profound. In his first full season at Villa Park, he took both the Premier League and Champions League by storm. His performances were instrumental in driving Unai Emery's side to the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition, where they were narrowly defeated by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain.

That spectacular form earned him a first senior call-up to the England squad and the prestigious PFA Young Player of the Year award for the 2024/25 season. It also ignited serious transfer interest from top-flight rivals, including Liverpool and Chelsea.

Current Form and Villa's Continued Success

After a slightly slower start to the current campaign, Rogers has rediscovered his brilliant best. He is once again a pivotal figure for a Villa side sitting third in the Premier League table and progressing smoothly towards the knockout stages of the Europa League.

Rogers is not the only Villa player to feature in the CIES top 100. Midfielder Amadou Onana, who joined from Everton for £50 million in the summer of 2025, is also listed with a valuation of 64.6 million euros.

The study underscores not only Rogers' extraordinary talent and potential but also Aston Villa's shrewdness in the transfer market and their emergence as a consistent force competing at the highest level of European football.
