Birmingham City Season Ticket Sales Soar with 15,000 Waiting List

Birmingham City are gearing up for another Championship campaign under manager Chris Davies, with season ticket sales reaching impressive heights. The club has announced a 95 percent renewal rate among its estimated 20,000 existing season ticket holders, following the closure of the renewal window over the weekend.

A reallocation window will run from June 8 to 12, allowing supporters to switch to more affordable or accessible seats. However, due to the high renewal numbers, available spaces are extremely limited.

Waiting List and Online Renewals

From the week commencing June 15, the club will offer season tickets to those at the top of its waiting list, which has reportedly grown to 15,000. The match-day experience at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park has been enhanced in recent seasons with new hospitality options and fan parks, encouraging fans to spend more time at the stadium.

The club is particularly pleased that 70 percent of renewals were completed online, reducing costs. Chief commercial officer Jon Grimes stated: “This is important because it brings us closer to the renewal rates of best-in-class Premier League clubs, reduces the cost of service, which means the savings can be reinvested in other areas of the club and improves the overall supporter experience.”

Grimes added: “The passion, loyalty and commitment shown by Blues supporters continues to be remarkable, providing fantastic momentum as we look ahead to another exciting campaign.”
