Grealish’s Future Uncertain After Everton Loan
Grealish’s future is in the spotlight after spending the current season on loan at Everton from Manchester City before an injury cut short his campaign. It appears likely he will leave City this summer, with Everton reportedly keen to sign him permanently. However, Snodgrass thinks Villa Park could be the perfect destination.
Snodgrass: Villa Need Firepower for UCL
“Listen, it is certainly possible that there might be a few openings available at Villa, as they may be looking to bolster their ranks with some serious firepower ahead of a Champions League campaign,” Snodgrass told OLBG. “You just never know what a club like that might be planning. When you look at the overall situation, I think Jack would absolutely love a return to that environment.”
“It’s well-documented that he is a die-hard Villa fan who is incredibly passionate about that club, so if the chance arose, you really have to think why not? I believe Aston Villa is the kind of club that is constantly looking to reach that next level and find ways to upset the traditional top two or three teams in the division. Jack definitely possesses the quality needed to help them do that. We’ve seen his ability to provide assists and influence games this season, proving he still has exactly what it takes.”
“It is going to be a very interesting situation to monitor, and I’m genuinely keen to see where Jack eventually lands,” Snodgrass added.
