West Bromwich Albion secured their Championship survival with a commanding performance against Ipswich Town at The Hawthorns. Here are the player ratings from a match where strong displays were evident across the board.
Goalkeeper and Defenders
Max O'Leary (6): Not heavily tested with shots on target. One shot slipped from his grasp but Kipre's rebound was ruled offside. Commanded his area well.
Danny Imray (8): Continued his incredible recent form. A constant menace down the right flank, combining perfectly with Molumby. Delivered superb crosses once again.
Nat Phillips (8): Another standout performer. Rock-solid as he has been for weeks, clearing everything. Seemed determined to score and had three headed efforts. Led the way.
George Campbell (8): His partnership with Phillips continues to blossom. Campbell was all-action, using his pace and movement for crucial clearances. Very effective.
Midfielders
Callum Styles (7): Confirmed as fans' and players' player of the season beforehand. Had a quieter afternoon but remained lively, trying to make things happen.
Jayson Molumby (7): Played a pivotal role in this run and did so again. Fought for the ball throughout, often leading the way with and without possession as West Brom won the midfield battle.
Ousmane Diakite (8): Excellent throughout this run and at his best here. Won numerous battles and was neat and tidy on the ball. A proper warhorse.
Alex Mowatt (7): Continued his starring role since returning to the side. His experience, class, and touch have been invaluable. Denied from range and used the ball well.
Forwards
Isaac Price (7): Slightly quieter than recent games as nothing fell his way. A couple of scuffed efforts, but he worked hard as ever.
Aune Heggebo (7): Recalled to the side and brought plenty of energy. Hassled the Ipswich backline but sliced one big chance wide.
Daryl Dike (8): A big display on a potential Hawthorns farewell. Battled hard against old friend Kipre. Two chances were denied by Walton saves. Received a standing ovation.
