Soccer Aid 2026 is set to kick off in just a few days, as football legends and celebrities unite for a charity football match to raise vital funds for children worldwide. The annual fixture supports UNICEF, the global children's charity, and was established by pop star Robbie Williams and television presenter Jonathan Wilkes. Since its inception in 2006, the event has raised millions, and this milestone 20th anniversary edition aims to surpass the £121 million donation record.
England Squad Announced
The England team will be managed by Robbie Williams, who is also a UNICEF ambassador. The squad features a mix of football icons and celebrities. Radio presenter Jordan North expressed his excitement at playing alongside England's all-time top scorer Wayne Rooney, while warning that former footballer Jill Scott 'takes no prisoners.' Former Love Island star Chloe Burrows is a dark horse, having played semi-professional football at age 15. Reigning King of the Jungle, Angry Ginge, described his selection as a 'dream come true.'
