Scott van-der-Sluis Returns to Love Island All Stars at 23: Age, Career & Drama
Scott van-der-Sluis Back in Love Island All Stars Villa

Reality TV personality Scott van-der-Sluis has made a dramatic return to the spotlight, entering the Love Island All Stars villa in South Africa in January 2026. The former footballer, known for his unfiltered honesty, immediately stirred up controversy upon his arrival, signalling that this stint promises to be as eventful as his previous appearances.

Who is Scott van-der-Sluis? Age, Hometown and Career

Scott van-der-Sluis is 23 years old and hails from Connah's Quay in Wales. He first found fame on Love Island UK series 10 in 2023. Since then, he has built a significant global reality TV portfolio, featuring on Love Island USA, Love Island Games, and Netflix's Perfect Match Season 3.

Speaking to ITV ahead of his All Stars debut, Scott reflected on his personal growth. "Since my time on [the show], I think I've been on a journey for the last two and half years," he said. He views All Stars as the "final chapter" of that journey, with a renewed focus on finding a genuine connection.

Fiery Entrance and Villa Drama

Scott's return was anything but quiet. Moments after walking into the villa, he sparked a heated exchange with fellow Islander Sean. Scott labelled Sean "one of the worst Islanders" he had seen, leading to a sharp retort about Scott's own track record.

When Sean challenged him with, "How many finals did you make?" Scott coolly replied, "How many shows have I been on?" He later accused Sean of being "so far up Joey's a***," leaving host Maya Jama and other Islanders in stunned silence. Scott defended his blunt approach, stating simply, "I’m just being honest."

Past Relationships and Looking for 'Something Real'

Before his rise to TV fame, Scott was rumoured to have briefly dated fellow Love Island contestant Paige Thorne from series 8, though neither publicly confirmed the romance. During his original series 10 run, he was coupled with Catherine Agbaje as part of the show's format.

Now, at 23, Scott insists he is entering the villa with more maturity and clarity. "I feel like I'm now one of those people that can go in as an adult in their mid twenties who knows more about what they want in life compared to the 22-year-old me," he explained. His goal for Love Island All Stars is clear: to find "something real" and finally complete his reality TV journey.
