British budget airline easyJet has announced a significant expansion of its UK network, with a brand new route connecting Liverpool to the historic Italian city of Naples. The service is set to commence in August 2026, offering holidaymakers in the North-West a direct gateway to the sun-drenched Campania region.
Flight Schedule and Booking Details
The new flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) to Naples International Airport (NAP) will take off twice weekly. Operations are scheduled to begin on Monday, 3rd August 2026, with services running on Mondays and Fridays. Alongside the flight-only option, easyJet holidays has simultaneously launched package deals, bundling flights with hotel stays for a seamless booking experience.
To support this and other route growth from Liverpool, easyJet will base an additional aircraft at the airport for the summer 2026 season. This investment will increase the airline's total fleet stationed there to nine aircraft, underscoring its commitment to the Northern hub.
A Gateway to History, Cuisine, and Coastlines
easyJet champions Naples as an ideal destination for a short break or longer holiday, highlighting its proximity to world-famous landmarks. The city serves as the perfect base for exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii, the towering Mount Vesuvius, and the stunning Amalfi Coast and Sorrento.
The airline also emphasised the city's own vibrant culture, its breathtaking coastline, and its status as the birthplace of pizza. This new route provides travellers from Liverpool, the wider North-West, and North Wales with convenient and affordable access to one of Italy's most culturally rich and scenic areas.

This Naples service marks the latest in a series of expansions by easyJet from Liverpool. Over the preceding 12 months, the carrier has successfully launched ten other new routes from the airport, including destinations such as Malta, Prague, Berlin, Marrakesh, and Lisbon.
