Man Dies After Being Hit by Lorry in Willenhall

A man has tragically died after being struck by a lorry in Willenhall. Emergency services were called to Lichfield Road at 1:47 pm on Thursday, April 23, following reports of a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle.

Upon arrival, paramedics found the pedestrian in a critical condition. Despite receiving immediate advanced life support from ambulance crews, the man could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor accompanied by a critical care paramedic, and the Midlands Air Ambulance to the incident. A spokeswoman stated: "On arrival, crews found the pedestrian, a man, in a critical condition. Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene."

West Midlands Police has been contacted for further information regarding the incident. Authorities are likely to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
