Somerset County Cricket Club Announces Historic Commercial Partnership Extension
Somerset County Cricket Club has officially revealed the signing of the most substantial single commercial agreement in its entire 150-year history. This landmark announcement confirms the extension of the club's long-standing partnership with the financial services firm Cooper Associates Group, securing their collaboration until the conclusion of the 2030 cricket season.
Decade of Success and Shared Growth
The renewed deal ensures that the Taunton-based Cooper Associates Group will continue as the club's Ground Naming Rights Partner, building upon a fruitful decade-long relationship that began in 2016. During this period, Somerset County Cricket Club has experienced one of its most triumphant eras, capturing significant victories including the 2019 Royal London One Day Cup and the Vitality Blast titles in both 2023 and 2025.

He elaborated, stating, "Over the past decade, Cooper Associates Group has played an integral role in supporting the club’s ambitions both on and off the field. This partnership has always been about more than naming rights - it’s built on shared values, mutual trust and a genuine commitment to our community."

She remarked, "Over the past decade, both our organisations have experienced significant growth and celebrated meaningful achievements, yet what has remained constant is the strong alignment of our values and our shared commitment to excellence."
Barton also highlighted the company's enthusiasm for the future, particularly regarding its broader sponsorship of cricketers Tom Banton, Jack Leach, and Thomas and James Rew. As we have evolved, that shared foundation has only strengthened."
