East Cheshire Hospice has launched a new Business Club, with several organisations already signed up as members. The initiative was unveiled at Bollington Brewery, one of the founding members. The club aims to strengthen links with companies keen to support end-of-life care while also providing a valuable business networking platform.
Membership and Meetings
The Business Club will host three or four meetings annually, with the next gathering scheduled at the Art Fair in October. Corporate fundraiser Luke Oldham highlighted the benefits of joining: "The Hospice is one of the most trusted and well-respected organisations in the area. By joining our community of supportive, socially conscious businesses, you’ll be aligning your organisation with a cause that matters deeply to local people."
Impact and Engagement
Oldham emphasised the importance of understanding the hospice's work: "We want them to have a better understanding of what we’re doing so we’ll invite them to the Hospice to see what they are supporting." The club offers a range of membership packages, allowing businesses to choose their level of support.
