NS&I Urges Millions to Check Premium Bonds for £401m Prizes
Check Your Premium Bonds for £401 Million in Prizes

Millions of Premium Bonds holders across the UK are being urged to check their accounts immediately, as NS&I announces the distribution of over £401 million in tax-free prizes for the November 2025 draw.

November's Millionaire Makers

This month saw two new jackpot winners join the ranks of Premium Bonds millionaires. The first £1 million prize was awarded to a holder from Shropshire with the winning Bond number 258GE105589. This winner purchased their Bond in October 2015 and holds the maximum £50,000 in Bonds. This marks the fourth time a jackpot winner has hailed from Shropshire.

The second £1 million jackpot was secured by a holder in York with Bond number 568FY679677. Unlike their Shropshire counterpart, this winner purchased their winning Bond much more recently, in February 2024, and also holds £50,000. This is the second jackpot winner from York.

A Call to Check for Unclaimed Winnings

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, extended his congratulations, stating: "Congratulations to our two jackpot winners from Shropshire and York who have each started the countdown to the festive period a million pounds richer."

He also highlighted a special milestone, noting: "This month is particularly special because we're celebrating 69 years since Premium Bonds originally went on sale. Over 22 million people hold Premium Bonds, with the exciting chance of winning one of the millions of tax-free prizes each month."

The total prize pool for November exceeded £401 million, distributed across more than six million individual prizes.

How to Claim Your Prize

Bond holders were able to check if they had won a prize from 4 November 2025, the day after the first working day of the month. There are several ways to check for prizes, which range from £25 to £100,000:

  • Using the official Premium Bonds prize checker app.
  • Visiting the NS&I website (requiring your holder's number).
  • Asking Alexa.

While the two jackpot winners have already been contacted directly by the mysterious 'Agent Million', countless other prizes from the November draw remain unclaimed. NS&I's message is clear: check your accounts now to see if you are one of the millions of winners.
