Santander has announced a new financial incentive package totalling £205 for customers who switch their bank accounts. This offer is available through branches in Birmingham and other locations across the UK.
Details of the Bonus Structure
The bonus consists of two main components: a £180 cash payment and a £25 Amazon voucher. To qualify for the full £205, customers must initiate their account switch through designated price comparison websites.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Customers must not have held a Santander current account as of January 1, 2025, or have never received a Santander switching incentive before.
- A minimum deposit of £1,500 is required into the new account.
- Two direct debits must be established to meet the qualification criteria.
How to Claim the Additional Voucher
The £25 Amazon voucher is available exclusively to those who begin their switch through participating comparison platforms. These include MoneySavingExpert, MoneySuperMarket, Experian, and Clearscore.
After opening the account, customers must complete five debit card transactions within 30 days to secure the voucher. The £180 cash bonus will be paid within 90 days of starting the switching process.
