I Stayed at England's Football Hotel & Trained Like the Stars
Inside England's Football Hotel: A Fan's Dream Stay

For any football fan, the dream of pulling on the Three Lions shirt is the ultimate fantasy. While that particular ambition might remain out of reach for most, a new immersive experience offers the next best thing: the chance to live, train, and sleep exactly like the England national teams.

A Grand Entrance Fit for Football Royalty

Reach's Josh Holland, a self-confessed football obsessive, was given the opportunity to stay in the brand new 'Stay Like the England Teams' room at the Hilton Hotel at St George's Park in Burton-on-Trent. The experience began in true elite athlete style, with Josh and his brother arriving via the exclusive players' entrance, the same one used by superstars like Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham.

They were welcomed with a personalised message and even signed their own mock England contracts, complete with a special polarised photograph, immediately setting the tone for a uniquely special stay.

Inside Suite Caroline: The Ultimate Football Fan's Retreat

The room itself, named 'Suite Caroline', was incredibly spacious. It featured a double bed, two bathrooms, and two televisions. The football theme was elegantly integrated, with three framed shirts displayed in a dressing-room style, including one from England legend Alex Scott.

The standout feature, however, was the outdoor area. Overlooking the stunning grounds of St George's Park, it boasted a football-themed dugout with four heated seats and a large screen – the perfect spot to play the new EAFC 26 or watch a football film.

Training, Tours and Fine Dining

The package included much more than just an overnight stay. An FA coach led a private, hour-long training session on the specially crafted Hilton Pitch, allowing Josh and his brother to engage in ball work and a competitive match.

This was followed by a fascinating behind-the-scenes tour of the national team's facilities. They explored the cryotherapy chamber, the indoor futsal halls, and even Europe's longest gym, before overlooking the Sir Bobby Charlton Pitch, which is modelled on the Wembley surface.

Dining was a first-class affair. After complimentary drinks in the Executive Lounge, they enjoyed a superb dinner featuring a duck and orange parfait starter and a mouth-watering grilled fillet of beef. The customer service throughout was impeccable.

Returning to their room, they found a selection of cinema treats waiting for them, perfectly capping off an action-packed day.

Is The Exclusive Experience Worth It?

The 'Stay Like the England Teams' suite is available on select dates throughout November, December, and January. The rate is £650 per night, which includes the training session, all food and drink, the behind-the-scenes tour, and the room itself.

While it's certainly a premium price, the exclusive access, unparalleled quality, and the sheer magic of the experience make it a must-do for any die-hard England supporter. You'll be the only guests in the hotel on this specific package, making you feel like football royalty for a night.
