McDonald's Launches 12 New Festive Menu Items Including Grinch Meal

Fast-food giant McDonald's has today rolled out a major menu overhaul, introducing 12 brand new items for the festive season. This launch follows the departure of the previous international heist menu, which included items like the Garlic & Black Pepper nuggets and the Pineapple McSpicy.

The Grinch Takes Over Maccies

Arguably the star of the new lineup is The Grinch Meal, a special festive offering that comes with an exclusive gift. Customers can choose this meal with either a Big Mac, nine Chicken McNuggets, or a McPlant. The meal is accompanied by the new Grinched McShaker Fries, a drink, and a pair of limited-edition Mismatched Grinch x McDonald’s Socks.

The McShaker Fries are a key feature, involving classic fries and a gherkin-flavoured seasoning. The concept requires diners to tip the seasoning into the paper bag with their fries and give it a good shake to coat them evenly.

New Burgers, Drinks, and Sweet Treats

For those not drawn to the green grump, McDonald's has introduced the Cheesy Chicken Stack. This burger consists of a chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating, layered with mega cheese melt, a cheese slice, lettuce, and a warming Chipotle Salsa.

The beverage selection also gets a festive makeover. The Frozen Grinch Lemonade combines zesty frozen lemonade with a vivid green melon swirl. There is also a new Coconut Latte, made with coffee, coconut syrup, and cream, as well as a Coconut Hot Chocolate version.

When it comes to desserts, the new menu does not disappoint. The Mischief McFlurry mixes dairy ice cream with festive Smarties, Christmas trees, and a fruity strawberry sauce. The Chocolate Brownie McFlurry contains brownie cookie pieces and a chocolate sauce drizzle. Topping off the puddings is the Grumble Pie, a green pastry parcel filled with apple, cranberry, and custard.

Returning Favourites and Full Pricing

Alongside the new creations, McDonald's is bringing back some much-loved classics. The Cheese Melt Dippers return, served with a rich tomato dip, available individually or in a Sharebox. The Big Tasty also makes a comeback, but with a new option: for the first time, it is available in both a standard and a double size.
