East Yorkshire's Premier Modular Wins Place on £1bn NHS Framework
Premier Modular Secures £1bn NHS Framework Spot

An East Yorkshire manufacturer has secured a pivotal role on a major new £1 billion NHS framework, strengthening its position as a leader in the UK's off-site construction sector.

A Strategic Partnership for Public Sector Building

Premier Modular, based in Brandesburton near Driffield, has been appointed as a trusted partner across three key lots of work on the NHS Commercial Solutions modular building framework. This four-year agreement is designed to support the rapid and sustainable provision of both temporary and permanent modular buildings for healthcare, housing, education, and other public facilities nationwide.

The company is one of only three firms to be selected for all three lots on the framework, a testament to its comprehensive technical expertise. This covers the entire project lifecycle, from initial consultancy and design through to construction and ongoing operational support.

Breaking Down the £1 Billion Framework

The framework is strategically divided into three distinct lots, each with a specific focus and value.

Lot 2, which carries the heftiest value of up to £600 million, encompasses the full spectrum of services for modular and prefabricated buildings, including their design, manufacture, supply, installation, and maintenance.

Lot 1, valued at up to £150 million, is dedicated to consultancy services, covering essential preliminary work such as planning and surveying.

Meanwhile, Lot 3, with a value of £300 million, is responsible for managed services. This includes the delivery and integration of critical components like medical equipment, IT infrastructure, and staffing solutions.

A Track Record of Delivery and Future Ambition

This significant framework win builds on a period of strong performance for Premier Modular. The firm recently landed a multimillion-pound contract to provide security buildings at three UK airports. It is also currently supplying essential health service buildings for the new Community Diagnostic Centre at Congleton War Memorial Hospital in Cheshire.

David Harris, CEO of Premier Modular, commented on the achievement, stating: "Our inclusion in this strategic framework underscores our strong track record of providing solutions that hit the innovation, sustainability and technical requirements that this sector demands."

He added: "We are proud to support the NHS, central government departments, local authorities, and educational bodies in accelerating the delivery of essential infrastructure through modern methods of constructions. This framework presents another opportunity for us to collaborate and contribute meaningfully to the entire lifecycle of future public sector programmes."

This latest success ensures that Premier Modular, a company with nearly 70 years of experience in modular solutions, remains at the forefront of delivering faster, more flexible, and high-quality building solutions across the country. The firm also recently celebrated a milestone, having delivered its 500th retail 'pod' for the key-cutting and repairs business Timpson over the summer.
