How the Asda Fuel Saving Deal Works
The supermarket giant has reduced fuel prices by 3p per litre at nearly 500 of its Asda Express forecourts. To qualify for the discount, customers need to purchase at least £15 worth of goods in-store alongside their fuel. The saving is then applied automatically at the till when both transactions are paid for together.
This initiative is specifically timed to assist those travelling to see friends and family over the Christmas holidays. Joseph Sutton, Asda Express Vice President for foodservice and fuel, emphasised the company's understanding of seasonal pressures. "We know every penny matters for our customers – especially at Christmas," he stated.
Limited Time for Savings
The crucial detail for drivers is the offer's expiry date. The 3p-per-litre discount will only be available until Wednesday, December 31. This deadline gives motorists a chance to save on both their Christmas journeys and any travel planned for the New Year period.
Sutton added, "With so many of us set to travel over the next few days to see friends and family, we’re letting people know that Asda has you covered. With a little extra help at the pumps, customers can save on fuel while picking up festive treats and essentials in one quick stop."

Alongside the price promotion, Asda has moved to reassure customers about the quality of its discounted fuel. The company confirms its fuels meet British Standards and comply with the World Fuels Charter, exceeding both national and European requirements for petrol stations.
Supply originates from UK oil refineries and approved importers, with a dedicated tanker fleet ensuring quality is maintained from refinery to forecourt. Asda states its fuel contains specially formulated performance additives and detergents designed to keep engines clean and performing "like new."
With the deadline fast approaching, drivers looking to cut their travel costs are advised to take advantage of this offer at participating Asda Express sites before it runs out on New Year's Eve.
