Cotswolds Designer Outlet Expands Near Birmingham with New Store Opening

The Cotswolds Designer Outlet in Tewkesbury is rapidly expanding less than a year after its initial launch, providing a fresh shopping destination for fashion enthusiasts in the West Midlands. Located merely an hour away from Birmingham via the M5 motorway, this retail village is enhancing its offerings with the addition of a prominent global eyewear chain.

Sunglass Hut Joins the Outlet's Growing Roster

Sunglass Hut has become the latest retailer to join the Cotswolds Designer Outlet as part of its first development phase. This move follows the outlet's successful opening, which saw an impressive 98% occupancy rate for its units. The eyewear store will feature a wide range of luxury and designer brands, including Ray-Ban, Gucci, Michael Kors, Versace, Prada, Oakley, and Maui Jim, catering to diverse consumer preferences.

Christine Grace, the leasing director at Multi-Realm, highlighted the outlet's progress, stating: "Cotswolds Designer Outlet opened with an unprecedented 98% of its units occupied and this announcement leaves just a single space available, though we are in talks with several brands to complete the line up of phase 1." This indicates ongoing negotiations to finalize the initial phase, ensuring a comprehensive shopping experience.
